The Green Keeping Managers' Tale
Depending on whom you had asked there were something in the region of 14 - 18 former sporting personalities in attendance for what turned out to be a very interesting and informative pre-lunch presentation given by a very knowledgeable young man with the title of Green Keeping Manager, who was assisted for the purpose of this presentation by two Deputy Green Keeping Managers with specialist expertise in the process of re-sharpening large cylindrical grass cutting blades by grinding.
We are indebted to Graham Rawson who so admirably arranged this excursion to the Green Keepers Shed and so fastidiously liaised with the Chef to ensure an excellent lunch!
