On Wednesday 7th October 2009 a Fulwood and Broughton cricket team were scheduled to play a Lord's team on the practice pitch. However due to weather conditions it was not possible to play and the match was cancelled before the Broughton team left for London.
All was not lost as Micheal Thorn, an past member of F & B C C, now residing in Woking made the pilgrimage to The Ground and recorded the scene!
